From the William R Bennett Bridge to the Kelowna International Airport is a 14 kilometer drive, taking you past strip malls, major shopping centre, grocery stores, hotels and motels, car dealerships and your big box shopping stores.  Residents of this area enjoy a more pedestrian/urban lifestyle with houses to fit most budgets.  Over recent years, this highway zone has exploded with unique townhome and condominium projects.

Everything you could wish for exists along this corridor including malls like the Capri Mall at Gordon drive and Orchard Plaza and Orchard Park malls at Cooper Road which hold over 170 brand name shops. There are the major box stores such as Walmart, Rona, Costco and Home Depot, and every auto dealer you can think of.  The strip malls include small organic markets right up to the major grocery stores, as well as coffee shops and boutique shopping.


At the North end of the corridor, you will find the Okanagan University of British Columbia; a global centre for research and teaching, consistently ranked among the 40 best universities in the world.   The Kelowna International Airport brings travellers from all over the world to enjoy the spectacular four season lifestyles.
